Its prejudices are in favour of modernism, difficulty, critique, poetics, deliberation, patience, demand, unhomeliness, Macbeth, modernism, neologism, frequency, correspondence, imitation, reciprocity, off-modernism, contradiction, seriousness, silliness, politics, timeliness, rattling, roses, strings, nostalgias, accountability, dining, narratology, et al, and that, hinterlands and winterlands, insistency, modernism, glyphs, glitches, glifs, glítcéhs, graphs, etcetera, diminishment, accentuation, knocking, knolling, systems, interests, blues, the sheer, the fine line, Cul de Sac, intuition, petulance, prevarication, waiting, leaping, surging, shuddering, breaking, faltering, increasing, ending.
It will be happy to publish creative work - that is, fiction and poetry - provided Christine Brooke-Rose would approve of a story or Marjorie Perloff a poem.
